    To be eligible to nurse in America with R A S Health Care, you must:

  • Be a registered general nurse (nursing education must have included both theory and clinical hours in medical, surgical, obstetric, paediatrics& psychiatry)
  • Have at least one-year of recent clinical experience
  • Have good English language skills
  • Be ready to commit to the process & passing the required exams

    REHAB CANDIDATES:

    Eligibility for rehab professionals (Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, Recreational Therapist, Psychologists, Orthotics Specialists) are vary from state to state but they have same basic guidelines as for nursing. some states are very tough to meet their credentials, circumstance are different for each candidates.

    Standard Procedure for Recruitment Process in USA
    GETTING STARTED
  • We would like to receive an up-to-date resume.
  • We will match with suitable openings we have! Then contact you to discuss your options, provide you with information about available positions, working environment & job description (if available, if not we can request from hospital later on), country of interest, contract conditions, benefits package, salary scale, etc.
  • If agreed to position, salary scale, etc. We will send to you an application kit (Either by email or by "snail mail")
  • HOSPITALS USUALLY REQUIRE THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS
  • Copy of up to date comprehensive resume. Resume should have detailed information regarding:
  • a. Qualifications / Degrees (where name of [institution & country]and when [year] achieved)
    b. Experience (including description of duties, procedures performed, care provided, etc.)
    c. Information about facilities worked at (hospital size, number of beds, trauma, referral, primary care, public, private, etc.)
    d. List of publications / research, if any

  • Copy of Diplomas / Degrees
  • Copy of current professional registration (License)
  • Three current letters of reference stating the position you held and the time period spent in that position (Can wait for if might jeopardize your current job)
  • Copy of passport's front page
  • Four (4) passport size photographs
  • Application Form
  • Skill Check list to complete

  • AFTER RECEIVING ABOVE DOCUMENTS, WE WILL

  • Verify documents received from you
  • Send all documents to the hospital(s) of your choice for a final approval (Please allow 2 to 4 weeks to receive a reply)
  • Send you a weekly update to the status of your application as received form the hospital
  • Notify you of the outcome (approval/rejection)

  • If your application was approved, usually we receive an offer of employment on your behalf! We will discuss this offer with you! If you decided to accept, and there is NO OBLIGATION for you to accept, we shall start process to get you to your job in the USA . Usually it takes about 6 to 12 months from date we receive a complete application to get a candidate out.

    Working in the USA

    The first step to move to the USA to work as a nurse is to get your License . Many states require that you also pass the Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools examination to work in their state. You may contact them for further information at:

    We shall be more than happy to provide you with the specific information on NCLEX requirements if you have a particular state you are interested in.

    Once you sit for your NCLEX examinations and pass, you are licensed to work as an RN. Based on this license we will be able to arrange an interview for you with a prospect employer at the hospital of your choice. Most likely this interview will be over the phone. Sometimes a hospital recruitment team will visit your country and conduct a personal interview.

    The next step is to obtain your Green Card visa to immigrate and work in the USA .To qualify you need to sit for TOEFL and TSE (Both are to test your English language proficiency).
