Wound Care Management

Our wound care team consists of medical directors, podiatrists, physical therapists, certified wound care specialists, ostomy nurses, certified lymphedema specialists and registered dieticians.

Nurses are given specialized wound care training so that they can follow the latest best practices in treating all wounds including pressure sores, diabetic ulcers, venous stasis ulcers, trauma wounds, surgical incisions, burns, abrasions, ischemic wounds and ostomy wounds. Wounds are evaluated and their progress monitored regularly by multiple team members, in addition to the home care nurse to ensure the best possible outcomes. The benefits of our wound care program are available to patients in both home care.
